Moderates acids
Experts recommend reducing, not avoiding altogether, foods or beverages with a very high level of acidity, which lower the pH of our mouth. We talk about citrus fruits like lime, lemon and orange, energy drinks, vinegar or wine, among others.

Use a specific toothpaste

Drink lots of water and chew gum
A good hydration contributes to the generation of more saliva, helping to remineralize and protect the enamel. Chewing gum without sugar, on the other hand, stimulates the production of saliva, at the same time that they help to remove the remains of food and reduce acid levels.

Dairy drink
Milk and milk products help to reduce the pH of bacterial plaque and are rich in casein, a protein that prevents the demineralization of the enamel and therefore its fragility. The cured cheeses, moreover, have an acid-neutralizing effect.
